Work & Credits

I wrote my first novel at sixteen. I went to school for screenwriting and film, and studied comparative mythology alongside it the whole way through. Anthropology came out of wanting to know more — and out of needing something worth writing about. That led to shamanism, to archaeology, to plant medicine, and eventually to a place in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program at CIIS.

I deferred it, and then let it go. An essay of mine had been published, a job followed, and then a residency in Brooklyn for the Transmissions Project — and I was suddenly working in the field I had been about to spend years studying, alongside the anthropologists and authors I had been reading for a decade.

The novels never stopped. Screenwriting arrived alongside them and I've loved it ever since, but the books have always been the center.

Everything else has run behind the curtain for twenty years: running the sessions, cutting the audio, shaping conversations other people got to have on the record. It turns out that's the same well the fiction comes from.

Everything below links to the work itself.
