Charts of Creative Minds

Every writer has a method they can describe, and one they can't.

The describable part is craft: the hours, the drafts, the rules they keep or break. The other part is stranger and harder to talk about — where the thing actually comes from, why it arrives when it does, and why some people can catch it and most of us watch it go past.

A birth chart won't explain genius. Nothing does. But it does show the shape of the vessel: how a particular person was built to receive, what they were equipped to make of it, and what it likely cost them. Read that way, a chart stops being a prediction and becomes something closer to a portrait.

These are readings of the charts of writers and artists whose work changed how the rest of us see. Some of them are people I've spent years with. All of them made something out of what arrived.
Each reading comes from an episode of the From Yonder Shore Podcast, most of them in conversation with a working astrologer. Watch the clip, read the chart, or listen to the full episode.
New charts are added as the podcast goes. If there's a writer, artist or filmmaker whose chart you'd want to see read, Email me — several of these came from listeners.

Want yours read? The same approach, turned toward your own chart. Not a prediction of what will happen, but a map of how you're built to receive, and what you're equipped to make of it. →Natal readings · Book a reading →
